IT Junior Project Manager & App.
Engineer South Europe Location: Barcelona, Spain Reporting to: Senior Applications & Change Manager Southern Europe Odeon Cinemas Group & UCI/CINESA is the most important European cinema circuit, present in Italy, Germany, Spain&Portugal with over 100 multiplexes.
Since 2016 it has been part of the AMC Entertainment Holding and present in the world with 11,000 screens.
Our Mission is to offer our guests amazing and unforgettable entertainment experiences, through high audio and video standards, comfortable seats and constant attention to the customer.
Job description: As the IT Junior Project Manager & Application Engineer for Southern Europe, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the optimal performance of applications while defining new objectives and driving continuous improvements based on business needs.
You will manage application-related issues across cinemas and offices, while also leading and coordinating application projects in collaboration with business users and suppliers.
Your tasks: Application Management Ensure smooth operation, incident management, and enhancement of custom applications across the Southern Region.
Project Management Address business and technological demands by delivering aligned and prioritized solutions.
Manage full project life cycles: planning, execution, risk tracking, and closure to meet goals within scope, budget, and deadlines.
Coordinate resources and vendors for flawless project delivery.
Standardize and automate testing processes using group methodologies.
Support Southern Europe Projects Stakeholder Engagement Cinemas: Support suppliers and cinema teams in resolving application-related incidents.
Southern Region Departments: Facilitate cross-divisional communication.
Group IT Team: Participate in regional and group-level IT meetings and initiatives.
Suppliers: Manage communication for project execution and collaboration.
Your Profile: Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience in identifying and efficiently resolving support issues.
Proven experience in project leadership, with expertise in managing full project life cycles.
Proven experience in documenting technical issues and creating comprehensive manuals to provide clear, step-by-step guidance for users and support teams.
Strong technical knowledge of application management and project methodologies.
Excellent storytelling, argument-building, and presentation skills for effectively communicating with senior leadership.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with experience delivering clear and impactful presentations.
Experience in agile methodologies, application development, or related fields is preferred.
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile) are a plus.
