The Hoxton is a series of open-house hotels, each in a neighbourhood that we love.
Ever since we opened our first hotel in Shoreditch, we've never just been about offering a bed for the night.
We want to be more than that: proving style doesn't need to be sacrificed for good value and providing a place where guests can hang out alongside the locals and submerse themselves in the neighbourhood with vibrant, welcoming public spaces.Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for:Providing brilliant and genuinely helpful customer service for every guest looking to stay in The Hoxton Poblenou.Taking the lead in ensuring our guests experience spotless and well put together rooms that they want to come back to.Leading and inspiring the housekeeping team by example, creating an environment where they can be themselves, feel supported and empowered.Keeping our standards for bedrooms and public areas high, through SOPs, relevant training and regular checks.Getting actively involved in the team's development to realise their full potential, so we grow together as a Hoxton family.Working closely with other teams (Front Office, Maintenance, R&B; ) towards the overall goal of creating a memorable experience in a beautiful space.Playing a part in our partnership with our external housekeeping providers.What we're looking for:Individuals who are looking for a place where they can be themselves; no clones in suits here.A passion for hospitality – whether that's a drink, a meal, an event or a bed for the night.A positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience.A collaborative spirit; we leave our egos at the door and help get things done.A willingness to do things differently and try (almost) everything once.A sense of humor; if we got stuck in a lift together, we'd have a good time and share a few laughs.A desire to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way.Previous experience in a similar position, or readiness to step into a leadership role.Knowledge of Opera, Knowcross or similar property management systems.Fluency in Spanish and English; additional languages will be highly valuable.An eagle-eye for detail; you can spot a slip in standards from a mile away.A natural people person who makes those around feel good at their jobs and comfortable coming to you with questions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
