Job summary
Define, propose, develop, implement, and control procedures and processes to ensure an accurate sales forecasting strategyEnsure customer demand satisfaction with minimal costs and visibility to the procurement areaCollaborate with Commercial, Marketing, and Finance departments to develop forecasting processes and tools
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement demand planning procedures to ensure product availability and reduce operational costs• Coordinate the preparation of forecasts by gathering information and guidance from all involved areas• Facilitate systematic meetings between Commercial, Finance, and Logistics departments to strengthen a realistic forecasting and supply policy• Develop collaboration processes and exchange between key areas to enhance understanding of demand and forecasts• Implement and develop forecasting tools and systems suitable for the implemented purposes• Develop techniques, processes, and teamwork tools to optimize work results• Take action in new SKU processes, challenging stakeholders in terms of action plans and consistency with Simplify For Growth• Responsible for the demand review in the S&OP process• Collaborate with the S&OP Leader to review demand processes and improvements• Interact with the procurement team to share rationale behind demand changes and their upstream supply chain impacts• Collaborate with sales managers to review sales estimates with important customers, products, or areas• Understand the objectives and strategies of Sales Directors• Work with Marketing and Trade Marketing departments
Requirements
• University degree• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in commercial and/or supply chain departments• Knowledge of the consumer goods sector• Strong experience in demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management• Excellent analytical skills• Ability to solve conflicts and problems
