Automation EngineerNumero lavoro: CGS11392Nazione: SpagnaSede: VOLPAKCittà: Santa Perpetua de MogodaAbout the CompanyAbout Coesia and VolpakVolpak, headquartered in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda, Spain, is the pioneer in the design and manufacturing of horizontal form-fill-seal (HFFS) machines for flat and stand-up pouches.Volpak's customers are market leaders in the food, beverage, chemical, personal and home care, pharma & healthcare industries.Volpak is part of Coesia, a group of innovation-based industrial and packaging solutions companies operating globally, headquartered in Bologna, Italy.Coesia has 141 operating units in 36 countries, a turnover of about billion euros and over 8,000 employees.About the RoleMission of the position: Assist in the automation of Volpak's machinery to improve, streamline and automate processes and maximize efficiency while still keeping product quality and adhering to internal protocols and external regulations.Main tasks and direct related responsibilities:Carry out the automation design of a packaging machine.Based on a standard software platform, develop customized software programs for the machine according to customer specifications (PLC, HMI interfaces & Safety).Perform the start-up process of the machine at the worksite.Develop new software platforms and implement innovative motion and automation techniques according to customer requirements.Design testing methods.Prepare the guidelines and documentation for machine operation.Complete projects by training and guiding technicians. Support the service team.Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing technical, functional, and quality goals.What You Need to Be SuccessfulDegree in Software / Automation / Information Engineering.At least 5 years of experience in industrial automation.Experience in motion control, configuration, programming and commissioning of servo drives, and CAM synchronization.Knowledge of OMRON SYSMAC or SIEMENS SIMATIC & SIMOTION or ROCKWELL LOGIX PLC or B&R programming language. Any PLC programming language based in IEC standard (high level) or structured text language. Modular programming will be highly valuable as well.Deep knowledge in SCADA systems such ZENON or Wonderware.Knowledge in high-level programming using .Net, C#, C++, Java, HTML5 is a plus.Demonstrable experience in CFR 21 part11 Audit Trail and GMP 5 practices, validations, tests and documentation.Strong focus on innovation and software development.Good command of English and Spanish. Third language is a plus.Independent work style and leadership skills as well.Result and deadline oriented.Good understanding of customer needs.Availability to travel (max. 20%).Knowledge of Office tools: MS Word, MS Excel.#J-18808-Ljbffr
