Job Description :
We seek a Backend Engineer with deep expertise in server-side technologies and a passion for building scalable systems that power industry-leading applications.
Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining our backend infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and performance.
The backend is vital to our business, enabling seamless customer interactions.
You will help build systems that scale efficiently and integrate cutting-edge technologies to enhance our offerings.
As an experienced professional, you'll lead within the development team, guiding best practices and mentoring others.
You'll architect and deliver robust solutions powering our core functionalities.
This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex problems and contributing to impactful products daily.
What you'll be doing :
Designing and developing scalable backend services and APIs supporting front-end applications and integrations.
Maintaining databases, ensuring secure and efficient data access.
Collaborating with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams to define and implement features.
Optimizing server-side code for performance and reliability.
Implementing security best practices for backend systems.
Writing clean, maintainable, and documented code following industry standards.
Monitoring and troubleshooting production systems for high availability.
Participating in code reviews and process improvements.
Qualifications :
5-7 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer working on large-scale systems.
Proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, with experience in data architecture design.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and third-party service integration.
Focus on performance, scalability, and security.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
Fluent in English and effective communicator.
