Job Description SummaryAs the Grid Automation South Europe Tendering Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to deliver technical and commercial proposals within our specific region.Tasks include: Technical application requirements, bid management, approval processes and deal compliance assurance. You will deliver on time the required proposals and certifications, in full compliance with EHS and GE values.Business scope: portfolio of active projects (including Protection Relays, Monitoring & Diagnosis, Control Systems & Services, APM and CIC business lines).Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Manage ITO (Inquiry to Order) activities, from specs review, preparation of Technical/Commercial proposal following GE's procedures and approval principles.Technical/commercial specifications review, preparation of compliance table/comments to customer's specifications and description of solution to be presented to customer (System architecture, technical solution description, data sheets, etc.).Support Sales managers with GE's Technical proposal presentation/clarifications to customer if required.Revision of GE proposal presented to customer according to opportunity requirements.Customer T&C revision and suggest modification to them according to GE's standard terms and conditions with GE's legal support.Follow appropriate approval processes in case they are required according to GE's policies and procedures.Close collaboration with other departments: Operations Team, Manufacturing, Finance, Services Team.Purchase orders review, to ensure order is in accordance with GE's proposal/last negotiation communication.Request revision of the order in case it is necessary.Follow GE's procedure for OTR handover: transmit all necessary information to required stakeholders.Follow GE compliance Policies ('The Spirit and The Letter') and promote open reporting.Qualifications / Requirements:Electronics/Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.Engineering and Business knowledge, with possible experience in Automation activities.Knowledge of Electricity Transmission, Distribution & Industrial markets, Substation Control Systems.Autonomy & Rigor.Fully fluent in English and Spanish. Other languages valued (French, Italian and/or Portuguese).Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus and ability to cooperate with different departments.Desired Characteristics:Previous work experience in a multi-cultural environment.Expertise required in customer relationships.Sales, commercial or technical development experience in the substation automation and/or relays domain expertise.High energy positive individual loving operational challenges.Ability to organize, prioritize and achieve milestones and deliverables.High interpersonal skills, Teamwork capabilities.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No#J-18808-Ljbffr
