We are seeking a highly skilled and entrepreneurial software engineer to join our team at Bask-Health. As a core member of our engineering team, you will work closely with our CEO and CTO to design and build the software infrastructure that will serve as the backbone of our telehealth platform.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a highly collaborative team and contribute to the development of a transformative platform in the healthcare industry. You will have the chance to take end-to-end ownership across the full development lifecycle, from developing servers and databases to final UI implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and implement new services through the full development cycle, including writing elegant, well-tested code in a modern technology stack and building libraries and frameworks that can help us build quickly and efficiently.
  • Work closely with the product team, making architecture and design decisions, participating in stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives, and helping contribute to and drive an engineering culture focused on simple, intuitive, high-impact experiences.
  • Be an engineering generalist, taking ownership of projects or large areas of the codebase and working independently to deliver results.
  • Build from 0 to 1, scaling and automating existing services while also bringing new innovations to life.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a full-stack generalist with experience taking a product from 0-1. We are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial, willing to roll up their sleeves, and passionate about disrupting the healthcare industry.
  • Strong backend skills, especially with Node.js, Lambda, and related technologies.
  • Front-end skills with React.js, TypeScript, Next.js.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical problems, constraints, and timelines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured startup environment.
