Here at Labster, we are seeking a Finance Specialist to join our global finance team.
The Finance Specialist will be responsible for controlling, overseeing daily operations and executing on projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Controlling, Account Receivables and Accounts Payable, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication abilities.
This position reports to the Finance Director and is an excellent opportunity to help lead an organization through a transformative time in the business.

This person must be based in Spain to be considered for this role.
Responsibilities Review of journal entries and vendor invoices Run month end with finance team and perform review of all accounts Perform monthly variance analysis to identify missing items/out-of-the-normal spending and trends Improve and maintain compliance areas, including coordinating with external partners (tax, VAT, transfer pricing) Perform monthly consolidation (NetSuite) and reconciliation of intercompany accounts Improve and optimize finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement Prepare and review audit documentation and assist with the annual audit process Ad hoc requests and projects (e.g.
NetSuite optimization, process automation and enhancing of general documentation) Analyze and integrate potential acquired companies Competencies & Skills Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Data Analytics or similar.
5+ years of experience in Controlling, AR, AP and/or Revenue Critical Thinking and highly motivated NetSuite, Excel, and Google Sheets Experience with working in multinational companies (various regulatory frameworks and foreign currencies) Exceptional analytical skills coupled with a solid understanding of business dynamics Strong communications skills and ability to work cross-functionally and with the senior leadership team Verbal and written fluency in English Proven track record of delivering on commitments, and working closely & effectively with peers and leaders outside of the Finance team Why Labster?
