.WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) In a Client Focused role within BCG's Operations Practice Area, you will be working with Case teams to guide them on the execution of Manufacturing & Supply Chain Projects. This involves acting as a thought partner and content expert, helping the team structure & solve complex problems, as well as leading a specific module. For some projects, travel to clients during staffing assignments will be expected to understand client requirements, and design / develop solutions.You will also work on business development and commercialization efforts for the topic/sector. In conjunction with business leaders, you will support go to market efforts, and publications. Additionally, as a Lead Knowledge Analyst, you will lead development of intellectual property & assets for the business and mentor and guide junior colleagues based on your topic/sector expertise.As a candidate you need to have knowledge in at least two or more of the following topics: Manufacturing & Supply Chain strategy and Benchmarking, Supply Chain Planning, Integrated Business Planning, Inventory Optimization, Logistics, Industry 4.0, Lean Manufacturing, Maintenance optimization, Quality Management, Sustainability in Operations.YOU'RE GOOD ATSolving client problems through analytical approaches and/or formulating relevant research in your area of expertiseCommunicating with case teams and clients team members, in a credible and confident wayWorking collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of workingManaging projects with ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating business sense and adaptability Being flexible and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideasNavigating complexity and ambiguityYOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)2+ years of consulting experience in relevant Manufacturing & Supply Chain required; candidates with consulting experience strongly preferredIn lieu of consulting experience, 3-6 years minimum industry experience required; Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)Fluency in English; German (Dusseldorf) andSpanish (Madrid)Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsYOU'LL WORK WITHAs a Client Focus KT, you will work face to face with clients and with BCG Project Leaders, Associates and Consultants. In the period between cases, you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients.
