What this job involves: Delivering core real estate services:
You will report directly to the Head of Logistics Capital Markets and be based in Madrid JLL Headquarters. You will manage our mandates with investors from the entire risk spectrum, working on both the buy and sell side. You will be responsible for every step of the process, from devising an acquisition and/or disposal strategy to its underwriting and closing. You will also participate in client meetings and property tours, working with other Logistics and JLL Spain and Paneuropean team members to develop and execute new business opportunities.
You will be highly numerical and able to undertake detailed cash flow analysis of opportunities with minimal supervision. Our client transaction process will be central to your role, involving both buy and sell side activities from sourcing and analysis of opportunities to their execution.
Promoting our services & developing our business:
Working as part of a team, you will source new investment products for increasingly hungry domestic and global capital and secure new mandates and clients. New business development is a vital part of the role: you will participate in existing and prospective client meetings and new business propositions.
What we are looking for: Education and experience:
A degree in business, finance, or real estate is useful; extensive experience in the real estate investment industry (4 to 6 years), with local as well as international/European focus is required. A very good working knowledge of English is essential.
Technical competencies:
A solid understanding of main contractual documents supporting real estate development and investment is expected, along with essential financial skills and strong market knowledge of the logistics Real Estate Sector and its main actors.
An analytical mind:
An ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and transform this into strategic deliverables is key.
A natural communicator:
You are commercially minded with excellent communication skills, good at building team relationships, and interacting effectively with business partners. A good understanding of multicultural surroundings will help you achieve your goals.
