Overview Key Responsibilities: Support in Software Development Collaborate in the implementation of software development processes for automated systems, working under the direction of senior engineers. Participate in the evolution of machine software in key areas such as operations, navigation, safety, and systems. Assist in improving software functionalities to ensure alignment with system requirements and best automation practices. Collaboration with Engineering Teams Assist in designing integrated software solutions, working alongside mechanical, hardware, and software engineering teams. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure proper communication between system components (robots, PLCs, sensors, etc.). Support clients and the technical team to ensure proper software functionality in automation systems. Verification and Testing Participate in verifying the correct operation of machines in different working environments, under the supervision of a senior engineer. Assist in conducting software testing and validation to ensure the system meets precision and quality standards. Help identify and solve software-related issues during the operation of automated systems. Preventive Maintenance Collaborate in monitoring software system performance, helping to identify potential issues before failures occur. Assist in the implementation of software updates and patches to ensure the smooth operation of automated systems. Technical Documentation and Reporting Assist in maintaining documentation for software development processes, system configurations, and updates performed. Safety Compliance Collaborate in programming safety protocols in the software, following instructions from senior engineers. Training and Support Assist in training operators and technicians on the use of software interfaces and system functionalities. Provide basic support in troubleshooting software issues, working closely with the technical team. Support system commissioning under the direction of senior engineers, ensuring that all software components are correctly integrated. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java. Willingness to learn and gain experience in software development for automated and robotic systems. Familiarity with PLC programming or a strong interest in learning. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and a desire to grow in an industrial environment.
