Applications Engineer Numero lavoro CGS11722 Nazione Spagna Sede: VOLPAK Città Santa Perpètua de Mogoda About the CompanyVolpak, headquartered in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda, Spain, is the pioneer in the design and manufacturing of horizontal form-fill-seal (HFFS) machines for flat and stand-up pouches.Volpak's customers are market leaders in the food, beverage, chemical, personal and home care, pharma & healthcare industries.Volpak is part of Coesia, a group of innovation-based industrial and packaging solutions companies operating globally, headquartered in Bologna, Italy.Coesia has operating units in 36 countries, a turnover of 2,015 million euros in 2022 and over 8,000 employees.About the RoleSatisfy customer requirements and achievements of the company budget through the development of specific activities for product line or application segments.Main responsibilites: On the basis of specific client requirements, elaborate on the offer evaluating whether it can be applied to the adequate technical solutions or if it has to be declined for technical reasons.Support sales engineers in customer calls for quotations of complex systems or when the collection of more technical information or further details is necessary.Execute technical proposals through system layout engineering or cost estimating of necessary components or modules.Ask quotations from external suppliers and evaluate estimates.Give technical support to other company departments for the segment / product lines under one's responsibility.Collaborate with sales engineers for problems related to assembly or in the event of customer complaints.Develop the market and the sales of new products lines / segments under one's responsibility, acting as local interface with the central functions within in the Company.Responsible for the testing of product and dosing to ensure correct solution provided.What You Need to Be Successful Engineering degree, minimum 3 years' experience from an engineering function.Product knowledge.Technical drawing.Product market.Project management.Customer awareness.Customer technology.Cost estimate and Pay-off calculation.AutoDesk CAD Tools.2D/3D.Negotiation skills.Our Offer Permanent contract.Life insurace.Healthcare benefits.Hybrid work.Professional development opportunities.Private parking.
