Logistics & Indirect Procurement Vestas Global Procurement is an award-winning best in class Procurement function within the world's leading OEM for sustainable and renewable energy solutions.
We are responsible for all Procurement activities within Vestas, including leading global and cross-functional teams, developing and implementing commodity strategies, creating and capturing end-to-end value, and managing supplier relationships.
Responsibilities Collaborate on definition and deployment of the strategy Drive the standardization of processes within the department Create standard tools Drive the implementation of the sustainability strategy in Construction Procurement Manage tender processes, bid development, and sub-contract negotiations Develop supplier portfolio Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably within the field of engineering.
At least 5 years of experience in subcontracting and purchasing mechanical and electrical works.
Wind sector is preferred, but O&G and Infrastructure experience is valid.
Construction project management experience is valued.
Analytical and negotiation skills Experience in project-based purchasing and pre-contract bid management, category management, and Supplier Relationship Management Fluent English is mandatory.
