ResponsibilitiesSociete Generale Securities Services (SGSS) has a Commercial department in Madrid, covering Spain and Portuguese markets. The team consists of a Commercial Director and two Relationship Managers. Its objective is to continue developing the sales activity focused on local players and maintaining an excellent service quality for our non-resident clients. As part of our sales strategy, our goal is provide global custody, cross-border solutions and specific products in order to extend our services, increase our client´s data & market share, NBI and consolidate our local presence in Spain.The V.I.E. will have the following tasks:• Perform a detailed Product Market Analysis of the region/producto Review, analyse and document the Broker Dealer Market in the regiono Review, analyse and document the Wealth Management & Alternative AM market in the regiono Review, analyse and document the Insurance and Pension Fund market in the regiono Review, complete and maintain the list of Tier 2 and Tier 3 Asset Management in the Region and their custody providers• Support a detailed Product Gap Analysis based in the Market insights acquired and the existing product capabilities within SGSSo For the Broker Dealer Segment and the Asset Management Segment• Support SGSS Global Sales Facilitation teams in contributing locally to transversal processes: Sales Plan, mid-year Review, Prospecting Universe definition, deals and meetings follow-up, etc.Due to the VIE eligibility criteria a questionnaire will be provided. Please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure. Otherwise, we strongly advise you to launch asap the renewal of your passport.Profile requiredPLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.To facilitate the examination of your application by our English-speaking managers, we thank you for applying in English.Studies & experience:• Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Financial Markets• A previous experience in a financial environment/banking industry would be appreciatedLanguage skills:• Fluent in English and in Spanish (B2-C1)Technical, operational & Soft skills:• Proficient/Good command of MS Office• Good communication and presentation skills• Strong analytical skills• Client orientedThe VIE assignment in a nutshellThis VIE in Madrid is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.
