Offer DescriptionThe Research Center on Intelligent Technologies (CiTIUS) of the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) is seeking for a motivated PostDoc in Information Retrieval and Text Mining.
The appointed researcher will work under the scientific supervision of Prof. David E. Losada.
Together, we will study advanced computational methods for monitoring psychological traits in online environments, new retrieval methods for early detection of psychological risks, and credibility of online health information.
Our team exploits large-scale text analytics, machine learning and natural language processing under a highly interdisciplinary approach in close collaboration with psychologists and social communication specialists.The PostDoc is expected to collaborate closely with the teams working in several projects on early risk detection, search misinformation detection, and big data analytics.University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) offers a vibrant and stimulating environment for postdoctoral research, characterized by its academic excellence and rich history.
