Berthon Spain is part of the Berthon International Sales Group which has offices in the UK, Scandinavia and USA.
They offer bespoke yachting services to the Mediterranean yachting community.
Services include engineering, electrical work, antifouling, fabrication, and guardiennage.
Their workshop facility is in Son Oms, with head office in STP shipyard.

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Marine Electrician at Berthon Spain in Palma.
You will be joining one other marine electrician, and will work under the guidance of the manager.

Necessary Requirements: Experience within the marine industry, working as an electrician.
Knowledge of 230 / 400V AC installations.
Knowledge of 12 / 24V DC installations.
Be able to work in confined spaces and carry a load of up to 25kg.
Be able to read electrical diagrams.
Electrical fault diagnostics.
Advanced level of English.
Candidates must hold a Spanish or EU driving licence.
Candidates must be fiscally resident in Spain with permission to work here.
The following experiences would be highly valued: Experience with on-board electronic systems such as chargers, inverters.
Experience in navigation and communication equipment installations eg B&G, Raymarine, Garmin.
Knowledge of control systems such as Mastervolt CZone.
Knowledge of battery chargers such as Victron and Mastervolt.
Experience with antennae installation eg Wi-Fi, VHF, GPS.
Knowledge of ethernet installation and wiring.
The contract will be full-time, after an initial trial period.
National standard 22 days paid holiday, plus state holidays, per year.
