About the role:. Do you have a passion for global events and pop culture and a background in the travel industry? This role may be the role for you. iMAR is currently looking for a Booking Manager to maintain top-tier experience packages in travel, music, sports, and entertainment. Bonus points if you are a self-starter with experience working in a small (but mighty) team. . . This role will involve booking, confirming, and managing changes for packages that satisfy clients' promotional and business needs. These experiences could run the gamut from a culinary odyssey through Greece to a 'World Tour' including five concerts in five different countries across the world. . . In addition, you will also be asked to research and suggest potential events, activities, and travel providers for new experience packages. Our client needs are diverse, so anything from a Kenyan luxury safari for 40 travelers to the perfect Father's Day fishing trip in Islamorada is fair game . . Responsibilities:. ? Utilize booking systems and online platforms to secure reservations for flights, hotels, rental cars, and other travel-related services at the direction of the Concierge Manager.. ? Confirm reservations, manage booking changes, and handle cancellations as needed.. ? Create and maintain accurate records of travel bookings and reservation numbers. ? Lead creation of guest itineraries with accurate reservation details and information.. ? Maintain a database of trusted travel suppliers, accommodations, and other vendor accounts. . ? Research pricing and suggest potential hotels, activities, and travel providers for new experience packages and itineraries at the direction of the [Category Manager - Experiences.]. ? Direct Support Agents on additional booking support as needed.. ? Provide live support via text and/or trip chat to active travelers regarding their bookings and reservations as needed.. . . . . Qualifications:. ? Knowledge of travel reservation systems and online booking platforms.. ? Familiarity with geography, travel regulations, and popular travel destinations.. ? Previous experience in travel agency or related.. ? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.. ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills.. ? Highly organized and process-oriented.. . .
