We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bike Mechanic to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of bicycle mechanics, share our vision and passion for cycling, and be committed to delivering high-quality service to our customers.Responsibilities: Welcoming guests at the cycle center with a constant focus on their needsProvide expert advice on maintenance, upgrades, and accessoriesManaging bike rental reservations and preparing contractsPerform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of bicyclesDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with precisionAssemble new bicycles according to manufacturer specificationsCustomize bicycles based on customer preferences and specificationsConduct thorough inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of each bicycleTest ride bicycles after repairs or modifications to ensure proper performanceKeep track of bicycle parts, accessories, and tools inventoryMaintain accurate records of repairs, services, and customizationsLeading group bike rides for resort guestsProvide support to other sports areasRequirements: Excellent customer service and communication skillsProven experience as a Cycle Mechanic or similar roleExperience in Shimano and SRAM latest technologyIn-depth knowledge of bicycle components, systems, and repair techniquesStrong problem-solving and diagnostic skillsFluent in English and Spanish; proficiency in additional languages such as German and Danish is highly valuedBasic digital skills to effectively manage rental bookings, handle inventory, and perform tasks specific to the departmentStrong proficiency in reading maps and excellent orientation skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentCertification in bicycle mechanics is a plusPositive attitude and strong motivation#J-18808-Ljbffr
