Capgemini is seeking a talented and motivated Platform Engineer/SRE to join our dynamic team.
The Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, performance, and security of our platforms and services.
What will you do in the project?
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and resilient infrastructure using cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes to reduce manual intervention and increase productivity.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that applications are designed with reliability and scalability in mind.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues and incidents in a timely manner.
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure proactive identification of issues.
- Conduct regular security assessments and implement best practices to protect infrastructure and data.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems and services.
- Document infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
To feel comfortable in the position, you need to be able to get along well with:
- Proven at least 5 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, SRE, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- English level: B2 or more.
