We are looking for Firmware Developers who are exploring opportunities in gaming and willing to relocate to any of our offices located at :
Reno, Nevada (USA)Las Vegas, Nevada (USA)West Greenwich, Rhode Island (USA)Moncton, New Brunswick (Canada)What You'll Get to Do : Design, implement, unit test, and support Windows and / or Linux device drivers for a variety of legacy and cutting-edge technologiesDesign, implement, unit test and support low-level firmware for a variety of embedded products; ie) MicrocontrollersModify critical kernel subsystems to facilitate novel hardware capabilitiesCollaborate with the hardware engineering team on new embedded product designsInstall, boot, and test Windows and Linux on new hardwareSupport customers' field issues as requiredParticipate in all aspects of the product design life cycle including system architecture, design, development, and verificationDocument design and resultsWork individually and with a team to complete tasks.Required Qualifications & Experience : Expert in C, and C++ programming languagesDegree or Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related fieldWindows Kernel and / or Driver programming experienceLinux Kernel Driver programming experienceExperience with real-time and multithreaded applicationsIn-depth understanding of drivers, interrupt handling routines, and kernel subsystemsLow-level firmware programming experience targeting various microcontroller architectures (ARM, 8051, other)Ability to clearly capture complex technical concepts in writing for both technical and general audiencesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong debugging skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in EnglishPreferred Qualifications & Experience Experience with Verilog and / or VHDL programming languages targeting programmable devices (FPGAs, CPLDs)Working knowledge of applied cryptographyExperience applying principles of cyber security to operational technology and embedded systems (ex.
