Perform monitoring, profiling, and troubleshooting of existing solutions.Design, implement, and maintain scalable OpenShift/Kubernetes infrastructure.Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications and deploy them on OpenShift/Kubernetes.Optimize OpenShift/Kubernetes cluster performance, resource utilization, and cost-effectiveness.Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.Ensure the security of OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters by following best practices and implementing security controls.Automate OpenShift/Kubernetes deployment and management processes using infrastructure as code tools.Stay up to date with OpenShift/Kubernetes ecosystem developments and propose improvements.Work with key stakeholders to understand their requirements, existing systems, and applications.Create technical documentation and implement a solution's definition.Collaborate with your teammates to continuously evolve the platform and ensure service excellence.Constantly learn about new technologies and apply those concepts to customer needs.Work in Agile mode to continuously develop the environment to fulfill the requirements from the different stakeholders.Participate in Solution Strategy, innovation areas, and technology roadmap globally.Your Skills and ExperienceAs a Kubernetes engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:Bachelor's degree in computer science.1 year of experience with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes, Docker (preferentially OpenShift).1 year of experience with software engineering or software systems engineering in professional or academic environments.1 year of experience with programming, scripting, or markup languages, including Bash, Python, JSON, or YAML in professional or academic environments.1 year of experience with UNIX or Linux operating systems and command line interfaces administration in professional or academic environments.1 year of experience with Windows operating systems, MS-DOS, and/or PowerShell scripting in professional or academic environments.1 year of experience with software version control systems, including Git preferred in professional or academic environments.Team player with a positive attitude, strong communication (English verbal and written) & interpersonal skills.Ability to communicate complex technical issues to technical and non-technical personnel
