About PPU PPU has a leading role in ensuring transformation and change are prioritised and delivered according to expectations, time, budget, and scope. PPU's core activities are: PPU is organised in four teams: In our organization, we are looking for a Manager Project Management. We are looking for someone who: What does this look like in concrete terms? As a seasoned Manager Project Management, through your team of professionals you are responsible for coordinating and managing all programs and projects. This means that you oversee the quality, on-time delivery, and budget management. You ensure compliance with best practices and guarantee consistent project execution within the set frameworks.
In addition to overseeing the company Project Management practice, you will manage and mentor a team of approximately 10 internal project managers, nurturing their professional development and fostering a cohesive team dynamic. Your role spans the full spectrum of the employee experience. You will be instrumental in evaluating and recognising the contributions of your team, supporting their career trajectories, and championing an inclusive and empowering workplace atmosphere. Next to your team of internal project managers you will hire and manage external project managers when internal capacity is insufficient to meet demand.
In this key role, you proactively manage project risks and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. This includes effective communication with customers, management, and team members, building trusting relationships and ensuring project alignment with customer expectations and business objectives. You engage your team in developing and applying risk mitigation strategies and ensuring timely identification and mitigation of potential problems to successfully manage projects.
Leveraging your expertise, you will guide Atradius in delivering the projected results of projects and programmes within predetermined constraints. Your determination, and distinctive approach evolves Project Management into a critical strategic, tactical, and operational tool. No surprises. You will ensure that project management, along with insights and tracking, is thorough and high calibre, informing executive decisions and maximizing resource allocation and business value.
Leadership and directors depend on your team's impeccable reports, results, and insights, delivered with precision and timeliness. Your proficiency in both Prince II and Agile methodologies — including Scrum and SAFe— prepares you to guide Atradius through its transition to a versatile, multi-speed operational model.
As a member of the Project & Portfolio Unit's management team, you will aid your colleagues in their pursuit of excellence and support Atradius in achieving dependable planning and results. Your leadership style, both supportive and focused on outcomes, will set the standard for the new Project Management practices. Close cooperation with your peers is in the PPU management team is required. Close cooperation with the manager Portfolio Management & Project Support is needed to prioritise the right projects and with Project Support to report progress about the running projects.
