.At ING we are looking for an Internal Auditor - Temporary Your role and work environment: We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Internal Auditor to join our CAS Team. The responsibility of this team is to contribute to a strong control framework within ING. You will provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services, designed to add value and improve ING Bank's operations with scope in Spain & Portugal. CAS supports the organization to accomplish its mission and objectives through a systematic, documented approach to examine, evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, control, and risk (management) processes, providing value-added recommendations which improve operating effectiveness as well as controlling risks more effectively. Our way of working is ambitious and strives to be best-in-class and looks for profiles with: Excellent learning capacity. Attention to detail. Strong analytical skills. A skeptical mind. Out-of-the-box thinking. The team of 7 in Madrid is directly responsible for ING Spain & Portugal. Also, as part of a global function, the team is available to support other audit teams in different locations. Your key responsibilities: As an Auditor, you will: Support audits, which means evaluating (and testing) the control environment over different products or processes. Collaborate in auditing fieldwork: participate in interviews with stakeholders, review documents, and perform tests. Collaborate in reporting activities: at the end of each audit, help to develop an audit report that helps ING to improve its control environment and mitigate risks raised by the audit team.
