This technology is used in applications such as Automotive, Smart Home, Smartphone, Computing and Gaming, and TWS headset applications. This is an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work with a small team, based in Barcelona (Spain) to develop this business across Europe, working in both the consumer electronics industry and automotive sectors, providing world class applications support direct to customers.Key responsibilities include:Supporting customers with Mechanical and Electrical DesignReviewing customer Mechanical CAD designs.Simulating MEMs sensor performance in CAD software to derive optimum performance for bespoke customer applicationsParticipating in multi-disciplinary system integration activities comprising Mechanical, Hardware, Software, and application-specific system solutionsSupporting customers with system design validation and debug from prototype to successful mass production rampDelivering Technical Support for Mechanical, Hardware, Software and Application-specific system issuesReproducing and solving technical issues seen on customer platforms in the laboratoryWorking alongside Sales and Marketing teams to provide pre-design-in sales promotion supportPresenting Qorvo's Force Sensor technology to customers, assessing customer technical requirements and proposing appropriate mechanical solutions to meet those requirementsLiaise between Qorvo Force Sensor Corporate Teams and customer from concept to mass productionDelivering port Force Sensor Software Integration to Customer PlatformsREQUIREMENTS:A strong degree in a relevant engineering discipline5+ years of relevant industry experience, including on-site field applications support, mechanical design and integration, driver & software integration support, mechanical integration, and full system bring-up at customer siteMechanical CAD design expert, with proficiency in simulation and modellingExperience working with high volume customers leading to successful production ramp preferredExcellent problem-solving approach and a strong desire to see the customer succeedAbility to work on own initiative to come up with innovative solutions
