Job Title: EMEA Regional Accountant

Primary FunctionCorporate & Statutory AccountingPP&E SupportEMEA Payroll SupportBank ReconciliationsReports To: EMEA Regional Controller
Key AccountabilitiesBusinessProvide effective delivery of the end-to-end operational accounting process and activitiesDeliver record-to-report and general ledger processes (e.g., journal entries / accruals, month end closing) for Qorvo's EMEA EntitiesSupport EMEA region's Acquire-to-Retire process including accounting for fixed assetsProvide standard performance reporting for the EMEA accounting teamProvide service management and governance for the EMEA accounting teamResponsible for upholding quality and standardized service delivery to global standardsSupport client facing and internal operational accounting services- liaison for regional accounting with the corporate accounting teamLead financial statement audit support for US GAAP and statutoryProvide EMEA Payroll process support- liaison with region's payroll providers- maintain client rules on International Payroll matrix and provide gatekeeper support to payroll providers including file preparation and deliveryProvide EMEA expertise to ensure accurate US GAAP and statutory ledgersManage execution of accounting procedures for EMEA team and engage in critical / confidential aspects of accountingAdvise management on matters of fiscal procedure and importance for the organizationEnsure compliance with the financial procedures of the organizationWork with confidential data, which, if disclosed, might have significant internal effect or minor external effectAgility and InnovationDrive consistency in period-end close activities and account reconciliation processes supporting improved efficiencies/complianceKnowledge, Skills, and Requirements:Demonstrated ability to manage work effectivelyDemonstrated ability to organize, schedule and successfully manage multiple prioritiesExperience in SAP preferredBachelor's degree in accounting; Five to seven years of US GAAP accounting experienceFluent in English and Spanish; in addition, French, German and/or Dutch are a plusDesired Behavior, Personal Attributes, (Success Drivers And Competencies):Project Management: Develops work plans, identifies data needs, and successfully interprets analytic insightsBusiness & Strategic Acumen: Understands Qorvo's blueprint, business processes and the Company's key strategiesFinancial Statement Acumen: Can create core financial statements and navigate footnote disclosures to perform analysis and reach basic conclusions.Performance Reporting & Analysis: Creates and provides robust performance reporting metrics and analysisCost Productivity Management: Understands and applies variable and fixed cost drivers to develop plant manufacturing expense budgetsControls, Compliance & Risk: Identifies potential threats/risks to achievement of control and compliance objectives and designs basic control processesPlanning & Forecasting: Basic understanding of planning and forecasting purpose
