Also it represents the next generation of luxury property development; a low-density project set among 300 hectares of mature forested woodland, the private residences blend with their natural surroundings and are exceptionally finished with open-plan layouts and innovative use of glass that brings the outside in without compromising on privacy.
Scope of the position The conference and catering manager will be responsible for planning and supervising the conference and catering operations and services.

Takes ownership and initiative to solicit business.
Maximize group revenue by referring available goods, services, attractions, and sub-contractors to conference groups.
Coordinates the Handling of group and events requests, familiarization trips, site inspections and any other requests received by the department Handles incoming inquiries and conducts initial qualifying process to ensure potential business.
Assists Events team with the creation and completion of proposals Good follow through; taking client events from contract to successful completion.
Maintains good aware of the events details and account profiles related to the designed Conference & Events Managers Maintains good business relationship and rapport with clients Proactively up-selling to customer needs Keeps an up-to-date track of all activities/projects completed and ongoing in the department Ensure the proper use of function space, exhibit hall and overall event space.
Develops, implements and maintains departmental SOPS Requisitos Mandatory Have ideally worked in a similar role within a five-star hotel environment with large groups for a minimum of three years.
The ideal candidate will possess an excellent command of the Spanish & English languages.
Desirable Knowledge of other languages Successful candidates will have the ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends, holidays and evenings.
An immaculate personal presentation with professional and welcoming personality is required.
Camiral Golf and Wellness is placed in 540 hectares of Mediterranean forest and located just one hour from Barcelona, with many national and international road, rail and air connections and just 20 minutes from the historic town of Girona.
Opened in 1999, Camiral quickly established an international reputation for outstanding quality.
The 36-hole resort also offers two accommodation options – the 5* Hotel Camiral, a member of The Leading Hotels of The World, and LAVIDA Hotel, aimed at the active traveller.
