Remoto: TeletrabajoAs a DNS & Security Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:Engineering & Delivery activities within Data Core, including but not limited to the low-level design, implementation, delivery, and optimization of Data Core systems and networks in Spain & Portugal.Deep knowledge in Gi DNS Service, which is a critical node in web-browsing services in fixed and mobile networks.Understanding security concerns related to DNS and its role in network security/privacy and new security services (Securenet).Desirable knowledge in DoT (DNS over TLS) and DoH (DNS over HTTPS).Manage relationships with local counterparts in the cluster countries, particularly network operations, marketing, and other local teams for network capacity management, configuration activities, special projects, and handling emergency situations.Ownership and maintenance of the country DNS Network.Detailed engineering of the complete DNS Network in the country.Direct management of the interface with regional and local in-country operations teams.Defining, planning, and scheduling all DNS activities and interventions.Accountability for those activities and analyzing/reporting relevant issues concerning risk, cost/benefit, effectiveness, and efficiency.What do you bring?Studies related to Telecommunications.At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.Solid knowledge of DNS Networks and operational experience.Good stakeholder management.Ability to work across multi-functional and cultural boundaries to deliver results/change.Identifying and understanding the best opportunities for in-country improvements within the DNS network in line with regional strategy, analyzing potential risks of that strategy for these specific countries, and supporting the Planning Design and Dimensioning team to adjust/improve the plan if needed.What's in it for you?#LI-Hybrid (60% home - 40% office) and flexible hours.20 additional days of home working per year from anywhere in Spain.25 days holiday (and additionally 24th and 31st December), with the option to buy up to 10 extra days.Meal vouchers (in addition to the annual fixed remuneration) and flexible remuneration plan.Free health insurance, life insurance, and own medical services.
