In this role, you will lead the design of features and initiatives across the organization.
Your main focus will be on firmware development of platform components for upcoming Ring battery-powered devices on Linux and/or RTOS based SOCs.Key Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will be a core member of the platform software team, developing Ring's next generation of camera-centric devices.
The ideal candidate would be passionate about building IoT products.
You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSExperience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering teamExperience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systemsExperience in professional, non-internship software developmentExperience in embedded development in C/C++Experience in development in the last 3 yearsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentExperience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operationsAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
