Team Leader Energy Storage Systems - New Product DevelopmentIn order to realize the mission of the engineering organization in our Product Company in Zaragoza, we are looking for a new Team Leader that will help us accelerate the development of Energy Storage Systems, key for the strategy of our Product Range.As a Team Leader, it will be your mission to assure the continuous improvement and cost reduction for the range/projects assigned.
You will work in close cooperation with the operational departments in the Product Company and report directly to the Engineering Manager in Zaragoza.Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead and coach a multidisciplinary team of design Engineers.
- Ensure the consistency and robustness of the designs within D&D dept, specifically:- Design guidelines are fully up to date.- Assure proper bidirectional feedback between NPD & Product Care.- NPD projects are properly audited (design reviews completed, checklists fulfilled, etc.
).- The team's competence stays within the company and is used to teach new hires and consolidates the team's expertise.
- Ensure that design meets cost/quality targets.
Manage any deviations to cost/quality via Risk/Opportunity tracking.Identify, develop & standardize the necessary tools, templates, checklists, to be used by the D&D dept.Lead design problem-solving efforts and guide team in redesign activities where necessary.Ensure we are aware of the latest international standard requirements that our products must comply with and make sure they are compliant (safety, documentation, directives, etc.)
in all markets.Experience requirements:5+ years demonstrated experience of new product development in a fast-paced environment, in developing new designs for complex electromechanical products that have been launched to market.Knowledge:Profound knowledge in electrical/electronic machinery design & development and willingness to learn in technical area.Knowledge of MS Office.
Experience with ILM, CAD tools and MRP systems is an asset.Excellent project management and organization skills.English language at B2 level.Knowledge in energy storage systems and energy management systems.Knowledge in power electronics, electrical machinery and solar systems.Educational requirements:Master's degree in electrical or electronic engineering.Personality requirements:You are a positive thinking, open-minded team leader with a strong interest to work in an international company.
