Come explore Novanta.Job Summary As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and develop solutions.
Your focus will be on optimizing production processes, reducing costs, and ensuring compliance.Job Description (Primary Responsibilities) Providing technical support to production teamsDeveloping and implementing manufacturing processes and systemsDesigning tools and equipment used in the manufacturing processConducting root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and improving processesEnsuring products are manufactured to meet quality standardsOutcomes / KPIs Process ImprovementsManufacturing Efficiency / Cost SavingsResponse timeRequirements Possess a bachelor's in computer science or a related fieldProficiency in technical problem-solvingFamiliarity with multiple programming languages such as Python, C#, and C/C++Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teamsAble to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectivelyCompetencies Innovation Management: Is good at bringing the creative ideas of others to market; has good judgment aboutwhich creative ideas and suggestions will work; has a sense about managing the creative process of others; can facilitate effective brainstorming; can project how potential ideas may play out in the marketplace.Champions Customer Value Creation: Delivers innovative solutions that help customers differentiate themselves.
