Job Description Position Overview: As a Network Security Specialist, you will be responsible for the Cyber security posture of our Organization´s Network. This includes designing and implementing security measures to protect the infrastructure from cyber threats and attacks, working closely with different stakeholders across the IAG Group IT Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design policies to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats.
Perform regular security assessments and audits of network infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
Coordinate with our SOC for incidents and monitoring of suspicious network traffic activity.
In coordination with our Vulnerability management team, report and coordinate remediation actions for any findings on the network infrastructure.
Advise on configuring and managing firewalls, WAF, Bot Management tools, NAC, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and other network security devices.
Advise our GRC area to develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Perform security reviews of network architecture and design to identify potential risks and make recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in network security.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, WAF, Anti-BOT solutions, NAC, etc.
Hands-on experience with security assessment tools and techniques.
Professional English.
