.Objective of the positionProviding Azure Cloud expertise, implementation, and operations support as part of the central team managing AXA's cloud platforms.Guiding and supporting DevOps teams 'hands on' in deploying their applications to our managed Azure Cloud environment as well as our Kubernetes cluster.Working closely with global and local security, compliance, operations, and finance teams to ensure safe and stable platform operations.Main responsibilitiesSupporting AXA in migrating their business applications from local data centers to the public cloud (PaaS and IaaS), from application analysis to solution design to actual infrastructure implementation.Enhancing and operating a complex, hybrid cloud environment running thousands of applications globally.Building platform and deployment automation based on Azure DevOps, Terraform, Azure App Services, Azure VMs, and Kubernetes.Designing application and infrastructure architectures with local and global architecture and infrastructure teams.Integrating cloud environments with existing monitoring and backup/DR solutions, as well as onboarding new cloud services and platforms.Organizing and executing in-house cloud training workshops, consulting development teams on cloud best practices, automation, cost optimization, etc.Working with local and global security and compliance teams to ensure safe and stable platform operations.Supporting finance teams by providing meaningful, near-real-time reports and managing PowerBI dashboards.Your ProfileMultiple years of experience working with Microsoft Azure, especially with Azure VMs, App Services, Azure Storage technologies, Azure Database PaaS services.Experience in architecting and implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments using Azure DevOps and ideally Terraform.Good knowledge of common development tools (Git, GitHub, Sonarqube, Confluence, Jira).Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar).Good knowledge of Azure networking/load balancing technologies, Application Gateways, VPN, ExpressRoute, VNETs, subnetting, firewalls, etc.Practical experience migrating applications from data centers to the Azure cloud, including basic knowledge of database (cross) migration.Basic experience in cloud governance in an Enterprise environment (incl. user and subscription management).Basic knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies and security automation.Excellent English language skills and willingness to work in an international setting.About AXAAs a world-leading insurance company, we act for human progress by protecting what matters.
