IT Service Manager (end client company)
Girona
Girona, Catalonia, ES *This position is based in Girona (Catalunya) and requires 2-3 days per week working at the office* Key tasks: - Collaborate with the IT Operations Manager on the Service & Workplace budget management.
- Developing, maintaining and implementing the roadmap agreed, ensure best possible service (working with local IT Teams and external vendors) and following the security standards defined for the company.
- Keep in close contact with Local IT teams and external support services, setting indicators for ensuring the continuous service improvement and collaborating with Local IT teams on solving problems.
- Become the Level 3 reference contact for the IT Managers, redirecting the request to the right Group IT section when required.
- Managing the creation of an ITIL compliant global inventory (hardware and software), coordinating the efforts of the different local IT resources to keep it updated and correctly maintained.
- -Define best practices for the workplace configuration and management (also MDM), keeping all the systems under control and providing tools for managing them in a distributed and flexible way.
- Ensuring an accurate software updates distribution, according to the company security standards and efficiently managing the workplace and server licensing.
Requirements: - IT study (Technological Bachelor). Service Management Master or advanced education would be an advantage
- Microsoft certifications as our technological environment is Microsoft oriented. ITIL Certifications will be an advantage.
- Deep Knowledge on the main technologies this position must cover (Microsoft AD, Group Policies, SCCM, Microsoft 365, InTune, Azure). Both high level approach and hands on skills are needed
- Broad experience managing ticketing tools and different models of support (internal, externalized, local, remote). Experience with ServiceNow will be an advantage.
- Multiple years of experience as a Service Manager is needed. Multiple years of experience as a Workplace will be very positive
- Experience in multicultural environment and matrix organization
- Good communication and collaboration skills. Good leadership skills but also being a good Team Player
- Fluency in english
