Security Administrator - Freelance - Barcelona Robson Bale are looking for an Security Administrator to come on board for an initial 6 month hybrid contract in Barcelona.

Tasks and Responsibilities Develops and configure, deploys and maintains security tools and solutions to meet our business security requirements. Which are also aligned with security best practices and vendor security hardening guidelines. Comes with a broad experience in engineering security products, technologies and capabilities such as: email security, SIEM/XDR/EDR; NGFWs/IDPs; Network security analytics; SASE; WAF; Identity, authentication and access management, OT threat management, data protection and resilience. Delivers day to day security administration of security solutions including: troubleshooting, configuration changes, managing user access, API - application interfaces maitenance, data feeds operations, running version and security updates, security patching. Doing this work in a highly regulated IT environment subject to formal change, problem and incident management processes. Monitors and analyzes security logs and alerts, identifying and responding to security incidents and threats, and remediating vulnerabilities in security solutions in your scope of responsability. Maintains administrative standard operating procedures, working instructions, knowledge articles up to date and after changes and upgrades in line with the IT compliance framework. Educates and train end-users of the security solutions in your scope of reasonability. Complies with requirements set-forth in applicable information security controls, performs and takes part in controls maturity assessments and audits for the security solutions in scope of your responsibility. Desirable: Has experience in engineering, deploying and administering security solutions in line with GXP compliance requirements. Requirements Minimun of 10 years of professional experience in information technology, at least 5 years as security engineer and administrator, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or in other manufacturing organizations. Bachelor's or Master's degree in information security, or in Information Technology. Relevant security engineering and administration certifications, and security professional certifications eg CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP. Proficient in programming languages for cyber security such as but not limited to: Python, PowerShell, Bash, SQL, and Perl. You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English, German is a plus. You are resilient and take accountability for delivering your work. You are passionate about cybersecurity and is able to coach and help others who come from different backgrounds in information technology, compliance or information security domains. You have a high level of personal integrity, ability to professionally handle confidential matters and convince others using appropriate level of judgment and maturity. You can work in a Matrix and geographically dispersed organization. All candidates must provide a Criminal record (not older than 3 months). Security Administrator - Freelance - Barcelona
