The Role of Assistant Director of Engineering:
We currently have an opportunity for an Assistant Director of Engineering to join our team This role reports to the Director of Engineering, and will be responsible for assisting the Director of Engineering in all aspects of the hotel and building maintenance; including electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, heating/cooling, painting, carpentry, structural, recycling, ground care, parking areas, fire and safety. Additionally, responsible for ensuring that all inquiries are responded to in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to deliver the highest of standards consistently and to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and employees.
Responsibilities: Talent leadership and developmentEnsuring execution and follow up of workPreparing requisitions for purchase and work ordersImplementing preventative maintenance schedulesEvaluating meter readings and consumptionSupporting the Safety Committee and the energy conservation program Our Ideal Assistant Director of Engineering candidate will have:
Leadership experience in a hotel/resort environment and expert technical knowledge of general building maintenance and environmental standards. Additionally, you will be a passionate and motivated leader with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, have the highest level of integrity and transparency, strong business acumen, an eye for detail, a passion for service, and a desire to promote a continuous learning environment that creates an atmosphere for professional development opportunities.
All applicants must possess the legal right to work in Spain and have fluency in English and Spanish.
