The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in product development. You will be responsible for improving with a design to value approach products related to swimming pools, using your skills in design, analysis, and prototyping.Your responsibilities:Improve existing products with a design to value approach.Responsible of performance, quality, validation and cost of improved products.Use SolidWorks to create 3D models and drawings.Work with a multidisciplinary team.Conduct laboratory and field tests to validate designs.Creation and monitoring of schedules in collaboration with Program Manager Office.Creation and monitoring of quality KPIs, FMEA and DVT in collaboration with Quality Department.Technical support for industrialization activity.To succeed in this role, you'll need a positive attitude and the following:Master's degree in mechanical or industrial design engineering.Proved experience on plastic part design and plastics injection.5+ years of experience in research and development departments.Strong understanding of mechanical design and analysis.Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software.Knowledge of sealing and submerged or pressurized products is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Fluent in Spanish and English.Passion for excellence and end-user focus about usability and ergonomics.At Fluidra, we are committed to both the professional and personal development of our employees.
