Safety, environment, and wellbeing are our foundation, and we never compromise them.We are looking for aField Service Engineer, E&Awith a main responsibility in supervising Field Service Electrical & Automation activities on 4-Stroke Marine Engines and Propulsion Control Systems.
The preferred location for this position isValencia (Spain) .Your role and responsibilitiesAs aField Service Engineer, E&Ayour work will include travelling, working on-site (marine installations and power plants) in new installations (commissioning) or participating during overhauls.Requirements for the positionExperience from working with 4-stroke engines (Diesel, Gas or DF) and Propulsion equipment (CPP, Thrusters, waterjets).Good knowledge of Written and Spoken English.Experience in Troubleshooting, Overhauls and commissioning.Availability to travelaround 80% of the time .Good communication and cooperation skills, especially in multicultural environments.Attention to safety.Experience in team working.Reporting skills.Experience in dealing directly with Clients.Time management and ability to work under pressure.Why you and us?You are valued – as your true self.At Wärtsilä YOU matter.
