With more than 13,000 professionals in 74 offices worldwide, we have a passionately collaborative community of 60 nationalities and are committed to world-class career development for everyone at every level.We are looking for a lawyer with solid training gained in prestigious Law Firms or media companies to strengthen the Technology, Intellectual Property and Communications team.Qualifications:Law degree (Spanish qualified lawyer)Minimum average grade of 7.5 in the Law degreeIP/Tech LLM and/or Business Administration a plusOutgoing personalityAbility to work well as part of a teamAbility to take responsibility for essential elements of a transactionStrong technical and commercial abilitiesHighly effective communicator (both orally and in writing)Committed to providing excellent service to our clientsAll eligible applicants must:Have a high level of English (proficiency) written and spokenExperience in drafting and negotiating contracts for the financing, production, and distribution of audiovisual worksKnowledge and experience in the tax and corporate areas will be valuedExperience and knowledge in the interpretation and application of the AVMS and copyright legal frameworksExperience in the application and interpretation of the regulations to promote the production, co-production, and distribution of audiovisual worksExperience and knowledge of collective rights management organizations and the applicable legal framework for media service providers and video sharing platformsLitigation experience will be valuedTo ApplyAt Baker McKenzie, we welcome direct applications.
