Lugar Barcelona, Campus Mar WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ISGlobal is looking for a full-time Geographic Information System (GIS) technician to join our team in childhood and environment. The candidate will work on the "Determinantes Ambientales de la Salud: proyecto multicéntrico a partir de Encuestas Poblacionales de salud (DAS-EP)" Project funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation (PI22/01051). The position will involve GIS data collection, processing and analysis for the estimation of air pollution levels. KEY RESPONSABILITIES GIS data collection, processing and analysis using Python or R, PostgreSQL/PostGIS and QGIS Development of efficient Python-based workflows to process spatial data to conduct exposure assessment Data quality control and validation AUXILIAR TASKS This job description reflects the present requirements of the post but may evolve at any time in the future as duties and responsibilities change and/or develop providing there is appropriate consultation with the post-holder.
