Main areas of expertise include aircraft performance, weight and balance, operations technical manuals and specially new route feasibility studies flight planning support.Main Responsibilities - Tasks Performing studies on the entire network operated by the company to ensure that any modification affecting airport characteristics, procedures, or navaids, are accurately updated in the documentation loaded into the EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) and the aircraft's navigation database.
Resolving complex engineering problems and contacting suppliers.
Correcting any unforeseen technical events in the flight procedure, constantly verifying with the manufacturer or involved supplier the effectiveness of the correction, and properly monitoring the steps of change management (risk analysis, design defense before Quality and Safety, approval, etc.)
to ensure it is perfectly implemented.
Being the person who defends internal and external audits with AESA and IOSA for the defense of all procedures approved and implemented in the area of competence and flight.
Update the operations manual with new aircraft additions or regulatory changes.
Update the manufacturer's manuals (Airbus) of all LEVEL aircraft.
Completion of the MEL with the data provided by Airbus in the MMEL and EASA requirements.
Control and update of the company's EFB to ensure smooth operation.
Periodic performance of aircraft degradation data studies.
Maintenance of the Lido flight plan tool.
Main Relationships Dispatchers Technical pilots Network Operations EducationAeronautical engineer, master/degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent.Experience Minimum 2 years experience within a flight operations engineering department at an airline (required).
Previous experience working with Airbus would be an asset.
Previous experience in IOSA/AESA audits will be positively valued.

Languages English: C1 Spanish: C1 Other Experience using PEP and FODM tools.
