Country HR Manager

We are seeking a Country HR Manager to lead the HR function of our client's Spain office in Barcelona.

This role will involve supporting managers throughout the managerial cycle, understanding business challenges, and proactively acting as a change agent to support organizational changes. You will also be responsible for ensuring a fun and comfortable workplace for employees, developing adapted HR policies and processes, and fostering the company culture.

About the Role:
  • Support managers in their role throughout the managerial cycle (recruitment, review process, compensation, talent management, conflicts and departures) in compliance with local regulation and group policies;
  • Understand business challenges and proactively act as a change agent to support organizational changes, in line with our culture;
  • Support employees during their company lifecycle (recruitment, on-boarding, training, internal mobility, off-boarding, etc.);
  • Contribute to a good social climate by preparing and leading works council meetings, providing efficient and interactive internal communications and town hall discussions.
  • Ensure a fun and comfortable workplace for employees and develop adapted HR policies, processes and tools;
  • Foster the group culture and roll out global projects locally (talent management, HRIS, etc.).
Your Profile:
  • Masters degree in human resource management;
  • Minimum of 6 years of solid experience as an HR Generalist, HR Manager or HR Business Partner, with a minimum of 3 years supervisory / managerial role;
  • Experience working in a dynamic, multinational and multicultural company;
  • Familiarity with Spanish labor laws and regulations;
  • Ability to work with senior leaders and top management to assess complex issues and provide HR guidance and advice;
  • Ability to define problems, establish facts, analyze situations, and make strong and strategic decisions;
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision;
