ICFO is offering a postdoctoral position to a well-qualified, highly motivated and dynamic young scientist who wishes to enhance his/her scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment.The successful candidate will be joining theTheoretical Quantum-Nano Photonics group led by Prof. Dr. Darrick Changto develop non-equilibrium field theoretical techniques that can be broadly applied to predict the dynamics of quantum atom-light interfaces in strongly correlated regimes.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to collaborate with several experimental efforts that aim to explore such dynamics in the laboratory.Candidates must hold an internationally-recognized Ph.D.-equivalent degree (or evidence of its completion in the nearest future) preferably in Theoretical Physics or a closely related field.The candidate should demonstrate a strong research background in quantum field theory and many-body systems.Equal Opportunity EmployerICFO is an equal opportunity employer.

Standard salaries range from a lower level aligned with national Ramon-y-Cajal fellowships to higher levels aligned with Marie Sklodowska-Curie individual fellowships.The contract is offered for a period of 3 years.
