With the world's widest portfolio and service network, we – Wärtsilians - deliver efficient, safe, and sustainable integrated products and solutions to enhance the business of our customers.We are looking for a Field Service Mechanical Technician with a main responsibility in supervising Field Service mechanical activities on 4-Stroke Marine Engines and Propulsion Systems.The preferred location for this position is Valencia, Spain.Your role and responsibilitiesWork will include travelling, working on-site (marine installations and power plants) in new installations (commissioning) or participating during overhauls. We expect you to have experience from working with 4-stroke engines (Diesel, Gas or DF) and Propulsion equipment (CPP, Thrusters, waterjets).Requirements for the positionExperience in Troubleshooting, Overhauls and commissioning.Good knowledge of Written and Spoken English.Availability to travel (around 80% of the time).Good communication and cooperation skills, especially in multicultural environments.Attention to safety.Experience in team working.Experience in dealing directly with Clients.Time management and ability to work under pressure.Contact & next stepsDoes this sound like the job for you?
