DescriptionGeneral InformationAs R&D Engineer, you will join our South Europe Technology Center, an organizationleading continuous research and development activities on transformers. Specifically,you will be part of the R&D Team in Zaragoza (Spain), and you will contribute to thedevelopment of projects related to the performance of dry transformers and contributeto the successful roadmap execution.Your responsibilitiesPlan and execute R&D projects following the internal Gate Model and aredelivered on time and on budget according to priorities.Challenge the status quo in technical issues, projects and/or processes, transferyour knowledge and findings from lab scale to production environmentSupport product care activities while monitor the quality performance of theproducts of own responsibility. Drive the implementation of the resulting actions ineither active products or new developmentsProvide punctual technical support to production factoriesLiving Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means takingresponsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and thebusinessYour backgroundBSc or MSc in Mechanical engineering. Higher formal educational will be meritingAt least 2 years' experience in product development and/or design of industrialequipment, preferably dry-type transformersExpertise in the mechanical and/or thermal performance of epoxy resin will bevery valuableInitiative, creativity, "out of the box" thinking and great attention to detailC ollaborative, solution-oriented approach, and strong communication skillsFluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken#J-18808-Ljbffr
