Your role
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Senior FrontEnd Developer within our Corpay One – Engineering division. This position falls under our Corpay line of business and is a remote based position. We are looking for someone who likes to take responsibility and motivate fellow team members to keep a high bar for quality, speed and security. You'll play a large role in developing new features and leading by example. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and regularly collaborate with other department/teams as needed.
How We Work
As a Senior FrontEnd Developer you will be expected to work in a remote environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Assigned workspace in home office setup
Company-issued equipment + remote access
Formal, hands-on training

Role Responsibilities
From a technical point of view, Corpay One's back-end is built on .NET with C#. On the front-end we work in TypeScript and React, enabling us to build reliable web experiences that can handle high usage volumes. The product consists, among others, of a web application and a mobile application. It'll be the front-end that will have your main focus.
The responsibilities of the role will include:

Writing clean, scalable and testable code in Typescript
Developing new features whilst improving existing ones
Building robust UIs with modern tools like ES6, React, GraphQL
Having customer empathy and the ability to think through customer needs and come up with clever ways solve their problems
Having a passion for building production-ready features fast
Ensuring there is a high bar for the quality of code and automating repetitive development tasks as well as a high attention to detail
Being comfortable working with an existing code base
Analysing system requirements and prioritising own tasks
Documenting development and operational procedures

Qualifications & Skills
The role will focus on FrontEnd Development and so the successful applicant will have:

5+ years of experience shipping high-quality front-end code
Experience and track record of being a Senior FrontEnd Developer
Demonstrable experience and strong Typescript skills
Demonstrable background and experience using React
In-depth knowledge of modern front-end technologies
Experience with Backend technologies, especially C# or .NET is beneficial
