We are looking for you, a Logistics Administrative Support eager to provide efficient solutions to delivery challenges and focuses on the improvement of transportation service levels.
You will have the chance to lead distribution activities from the sourcing of raw materials through delivery of the final products to customers, as well as implement inventory controls and review procedures for compliance.
In this role you will report directly to our Logistics Manager, South-West Europe, be based in our office in Polinyà, Spain, and be encouraged to align with other colleagues from all over the world.
What you can look forward to: Maintaining working relationships with external vendors to ensure the availability of raw materials, components and sub-assemblies and ensuring the organization receives satisfactory standard of service.Gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation methods usedMaking standard calculations to accurately compile and report statistics.Coordinating booking and pricing of international shipmentsPerforming other routine administrative activities according to the organization's established procedures and organization needs.What does it take to become our new team member? You have validated experience working in a similar position and hold a degree, preferably in logistics. Your proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is crucial as well as your stamina to drive multiple smaller and long-haul projects. You enjoy supporting data-driven decisions with flexibility and resilience, allowing you to adapt to changing circumstances with ease.
Additionally, your ability to communicate clearly and consistently in Spanish and English, both written and verbally, sets you apart.
