Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor team members on best practices for the development and design of electronic products. Act as a technical reference and support in solving complex problems, particularly those that require an understanding of mechanical systems. Proven experience in mechanical design will be crucial, as you will leverage your background to ensure the seamless integration of mechanical and electronic components.
Identify opportunities and needs for development within technical teams and lead discussions around design challenges. By fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, you will empower team members to elevate their skills and contribute effectively to project success.
Design and Development: Participate in system architecture and design, ensuring technical viability and efficiency of products. Supervise the development of prototypes and final products, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with hardware (electrical and mechanical), software, and manufacturing teams to ensure effective integration of components. Facilitate communication between disciplines to coordinate activities and timelines.
Interact with Management and Key Stakeholders: As a Technical Lead, you will be instrumental in connecting technical teams with management. Your role involves clearly communicating complex technical concepts to senior management, ensuring that product development aligns with strategic business goals. You will present project updates, discuss risks and opportunities, and gather feedback to refine project scopes.
Additionally, you will engage with key stakeholders, including product managers, sales teams, and customers, to understand their requirements. In collaboration with the sales team, you will lead the technical aspects of proposals and offers, ensuring that they are technically sound and tailored to client needs. This collaboration will guide the development process, ensuring that products meet specifications and deliver exceptional user experiences. By fostering strong relationships across the organization, you will help create an environment where innovation thrives and projects succeed.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of innovation within the team by exploring new technologies and methodologies. Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure products meet quality standards and industry regulations.
