This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.What you'll do:The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and customer invoices. This position also reviews and processes credit memos and reconciles receivable balances.How you'll make an impactProcess incoming files concerning billing and invoicing.Post payments to invoices.Produce monthly billing on time and accurately; responsible to ensure that past due invoices are collected and accounts are clear.Maintain accounting ledgers as required.Handle the processing of returned or rejected orders.Prepare RMA shipment paperwork and credits accordingly.Receive AR payments and entering receipts for all customer accounts.Monitor customer portals to ensure invoices and purchase orders are accepted in a timely manner.Ensure monthly billing file prepared by the carrier is reconciled to Geotab's internal billing system.Audit ledgers to ensure they contain correct information, such as billing addresses and invoice numbers.Maintain accurate records of all billing activities
