Join our professional team of Attendance Support and Abilities Consultants as we work together to deliver compassionate care that is responsive to the healthcare needs of our community.
Right now we're looking for an Attendance Support and Abilities Consultant to work in our Occupational Health & Safety department.
This person will support the portfolio in its mandate to provide occupational health and safety services, attendance support and abilities services, and healthy workplace programming services for all staff, physicians, and volunteers.
Reporting Relationship: Director of Occupational Health & Safety Employee Group: Non Union Location: Wilson Site - ON SITE Position Responsibilities: Responsible for administering all WSIB claims.
Decide on STD/LTD/WSIB case actions in collaboration with identified stakeholders including employees, managers, other Occupational Health and Safety team members, HR.
Works with other Occupational Health and Safety team members in managing WSIB claims (including appeals) and return to work activities.
Utilizes the existing claims documentation system (Parklane) to track claims management activities, identify required follow up and communication and generate statistical information to assist in identifying trends and support opportunities.
Plan, develop and facilitate return to work programs and processes.
Provide support, guidance and timely information relating to the attendance support and abilities program to all applicable stakeholders
