PhD Scholarship: Functional Integration : The University of Barcelona (UB) is offering a PhD scholarship within the Institute of Neurosciences (UBneuro), specifically in the STEM CELLS AND NEURODEVELOPMENT research area. Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Neuroscience, Biology, Biomedicine )
Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
Experience with laboratory mice (e.g., completion of a relevant course)
Experience in neurosurgery or related procedures
Job Description : The selected candidate will join the Laboratory of Neural Stem Cells and Brain Damage under the guidance of Principal Investigator Dr. Daniel Tornero Prieto. The project aims to enhance the functional integration of hiPSC-derived neural progenitors when transplanted into an ischemic stroke brain, contributing to advancements in neuroregenerative therapies.
